The characteristics of high alumina refractory bricks will affect the price

Feb 27, 2020

1, fire resistance

The fire resistance of this brick is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silica bricks, reaching 1750 ~ 1790 ℃. It belongs to very good quality refractory materials. The higher the fire resistance, the better the performance, and the price will be relatively weighted.

2, load softening temperature

Because of the high Al2O3 in the high-aluminum products, the amount of impurities is small and the fusible glass is formed. Therefore, the load softening temperature is higher than that of clay bricks.

3.Slag resistance

The brick has a lot of Al2O3, which is close to neutral refractory materials, and can resist the erosion of acidic and alkaline slag. Because it contains SiO2, its ability to resist alkaline slag is weaker than that of acid slag.

The brick is mainly used for masonry blast furnace, hot blast stove, electric furnace top, blast furnace, reverberatory furnace and rotary kiln lining. In addition, the bricks are also widely used as open-hearth regenerative lattice bricks, plugs for nozzle systems, and nozzle bricks. However, the price of the brick is higher than that of the clay brick, so it is not necessary to use the brick where the clay brick can meet the requirements.

The effect of size on the price of high-alumina refractory bricks   The size of high alumina brick is generally divided into national standard, special shape and special shape. The size of the national standard is fixed, and the production enterprises can produce in large quantities, so the price is relatively low; and the size and shape of the special and special shapes are not fixed. Except for general shaped bricks, enterprises generally need to customize production. The difficulty also increases according to the complexity of the shape, so the price is relatively high.
