Regenerative ball, also known as spherical regenerator, is made of Al2O3, kaolin and mullite sand as the main raw materials.there are two kinds of rolling forming and press forming.The product has the advantages of high heat storage, high strength, easy cleaning and reusable. It is suitable for regenerative heat exchange system of industrial furnaces with gas and non-gas fuels.
2,Principle of Mullite Regenerative Ball For Hot Blast Furnace use:
many regenerative balls divide the air flow into very small streams,When the air flow passes through the regenerator, it forms a strong disorder and effectively breaks through the boundary layer on the surface of the regenerator.Because the sphere diameter is very small, the conduction radius is small, the thermal resistance is small, the density is high, and the thermal conductivity is good, the requirement of rapid reversal of heat storage can be realized.
