Vermiculite insulation board is a new type of lightweight board product, mainly made of expanded vermiculite and inorganic binder. The vermiculite insulation board has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, fire resistance, thermal insulation, and sound insulation. It does not contain toxic and harmful substances such as asbestos, formaldehyde, and benzene. Even when heated to 1200 ℃, it does not produce gases that are harmful to human health, and its combustion performance reaches Class A.
The melting point of the vermiculite insulation board is 1370 ℃~1400 ℃, with a maximum operating temperature of 1200 ℃. It has high strength and toughness, good dimensional stability and weather resistance, excellent resistance to mold and insect infestation.
The vermiculite insulation board has a low density of 500-900kg/m3 and a low thermal conductivity of 0.11-0.20w/m.k. It is widely used in metallurgy, construction, power electricity, shipbuilding etc fields, serving the functions of thermal insulation, high temperature resistance, and flame retardancy.
