High alumina brick is a neutral refractory material, which mainly determines the grade of the product based on the aluminum content. It is generally divided into special grade high alumina brick,=grade high alumina brick,=grade high alumina brick, and third grade high alumina brick.
When constructing high alumina bricks in the vertical kiln of the ball mill, the high alumina bricks should be matched with high alumina refractory bricks of the same material. The mortar joints should be full of fire mud, and the brick joints between the upper and lower layers of the inner and outer layers should be staggered
When preparing fire clay for laying high alumina bricks, it is necessary to add clean water, accurately weigh the amount of water, mix evenly, and use it as needed. The prepared hydraulic and pneumatic mud must not be added again
Water usage, refractory mud that has already set initially shall not be used again.
If phosphate combined with mud is used, the specified trapping time must be ensured, and the prepared mud must not be diluted with water arbitrarily. Phosphate bound mud is corrosive and cannot be mixed with metal shells
