Use of Activated Alumina Ball
It is widely used as catalyst and catalyst carrier in petrochemical industry and chemical fertilizer industry. Modern water purification activated alumina has adsorption properties, so it can be used as desiccant of gas and liquid, adsorbent of gas purification, defluorination agent of drinking water, color and odor elimination agent of industrial wastewater.
It can be used together with household defluorination tank, and is an ideal drinking water defluorination device in the family. The filter material can also be used in combination with the defluorination device of water plant or industrial defluorination device. Activation of defluorination filter material in household defluorination device: prepare aluminum sulfate solution (3 L water, 0.3KG solid aluminum sulfate), put alumina (al2p3) defluorination filter material into the above solution, soak for 5-10 hours, discard the soaking solution (appropriate stirring when soaking), and then wash 3-5 times with water, about 2 liters each time, or regenerate by adjusting pH method, with pH value controlled at 7.5. Activated alumina filter material can be used continuously for 6-8 years. When the surface appears yellow brown, the effect of fluoride removal is obviously reduced, which is caused by impurities in water. Therefore, it is better to treat it with 3% dilute hydrochloric acid every half a year, and the operation method is the same as the regeneration method.
